LLOOK LLC is a veteran-operated resource and retreat center for families affected by dissociation. We provide reporting, commentary, educational resources, and retreat experiences to help families understand trauma, explore its effects, and take purposeful steps toward healing. In our work we seek to follow the example of Jesus. Our approach is warm, matter-of-fact, honest and understanding. There exists no darkness that cannot be forgiven. There exists no human who cannot experience the devine gift of a new heart and mind.
Understanding Dissociation: Bringing the Hidden into the Light
Dissociation has too often been regarded as rare, overlooked, misdiagnosed, or improperly treated. LLOOK LLC wants to facilitate a national conversation that makes room for greater understanding of how the brain responds to trauma, how people with dissociation function, and how we can live in peace and forgiveness with each other.
